Taco Bell Is Testing 2 New Menu Items

If a limited-release trial goes well, two new Taco Bell menu items may be available shortly. On October 12, 2023, the fast food company will launch crispy chicken nuggets in Minneapolis.

That day, it will introduce two new cheesy street chalupas in Indianapolis. The countrywide release date will be determined by adjustments made after limited-release receptions.

Taco Bell is currently offering preliminary prices for these new goods. Cheesey street chalupas are $5.49-$5.99 for a pair. A five-piece purchase costs $3.99-$4.99, while a ten-piece order costs $6.99-$8.99.

Taco Bell's new crispy chicken nuggets are the company's latest attempt to achieve fast food chicken nugget appeal. The firm discontinued its 2017 "chicken chips," which were triangular chicken nuggets.

The durability of the new crispy nuggets will be evaluated. The buttermilk dredge includes jalapeos providing a distinct kick as compared to other nuggets. Taco Bell serves nuggets dipped in Bell Sauce or Jalapeo Honey Mustard.

The cheesy street chalupas are served with chicken or steak and a shell stuffed with mozzarella and pepper jack cheese. The word "street" may apply to street tacos served from carts in Mexico and the South.

Even if Taco Bell has never represented authentic Mexican food, topping these chalupas with onions and cilantro pays homage to the original street cart.
