Outback Steakhouse Revitalizing A Discontinued Fan-Favorite

Everyone has a favorite restaurant order. Who can refuse Outback Steakhouse's Bloomin' Onion, Coconut Shrimp, and Filet Mignon? Fans still order the Wedge Salad from Outback even after it's gone.

While Outback provides the Aussie Cobb Salad and Blue Cheese Pecan Chopped Salad, the Wedge Salad was a popular favorite until the COVID-19 outbreak.

We're sorry, wedge salad is gone.  Outback Steakhouse tweeted in 2020 that it discontinued this item as part of their streamlined menu.

The Wedge Salad and other additional dishes will return to Outback's Sweet Heat Season menu. This year is all about sweet and savory, so Outback Steakhouse is doing a spicy-sweet menu.

“We’re excited to offer customers a diverse menu that fits the summer season,” said Bloomin' Brands' Director of Menu Innovation & Strategy.

Since Outback is known for its robust flavors, the ‘swicy’ trend is a perfect match and appeals to all our visitors due to its balanced flavor profile.

Outback's Sweet Heat Season menu will include a new Hot Honey ‘Rita, Hot Honey Fry Shrimp appetizer, Grilled Chicken & Shrimp dinner, Sirloin & Shrimp entree, Filet & Snow Crab meal, Tim Tam Sundae, and return of the Wedge Salad.

The new Tim Tam Sundae from Outback has vanilla ice cream folded in Arnott's Tim Tam cookies, drizzled with chocolate and caramel, and topped with whipped cream, additional cookies, and honey-caramel popcorn.

Not sure what to get first? No worries—you have time. Outback's Sweet Heat Season menu is available from July 26 to October 31, so you may experiment again.
