Drake has declared October 24, his birthday, a national food holiday, offering free hot chicken sliders to all. He can give away free chicken on his birthday! To do so, he's partnering with Nashville-based Dave's Hot Chicken.
Drake, an investor in the company, is celebrating with global hot chicken giveaways for the second year. Those who participated last year knew the drill. If you're new to the game, see below for how to get your free slider.
"Collaborating with @champagnepapi for his birthday again," Dave's said on Instagram. Providing everyone with a SLIDER (on us) US: Check in and grab your slider at any #daveshotchicken store on Tuesday, 10/24 by scanning the Dave's app at the cashier."
Download the Dave's app and scan it at the register to claim your free slider in the US. Canada residents may earn a free slider by following Dave's Hot Chicken on Instagram or TikTok without an app.
Fans may only get one slider per person during the 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time campaign across America, Canada, and the Middle East.
Chef Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan, and Tommy Rubenyan, childhood friends, started the franchise in a Los Angeles parking lot in 2017 using portable fryers and a folding table.
Drake, 37, isn't the only celebrity who likes Dave's Hot Chicken. Maria Shriver, Samuel L. Jackson, and Michael Strahan have invested in the fast-growing company, which is known for its hot chicken tenders and sliders, fries, coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, and milkshakes.
Oh, and don't believe the name. Dave's Hot Chicken sliders are full-size sammies with a spiced-to-order chicken tender, kale slaw, pickles, and sauce on a pillowy potato bun.
