Chipotle Is Bringing Back A Fan-Favorite Menu Item

Whether you eat Chipotle often or seldom, you probably have a go-to order. We know what bowl, burrito, or fajita quesadilla we want and with what toppings before we enter the restaurant.

Enjoying one of Chipotle's limited-time proteins might make your order risky. If you order Chipotle's new, exciting dishes like chicken al pastor or carne asada instead of chicken or steak, you risk the item being pulled at any time.

You will with Chipotle's Carne Asada. Chipotle is bringing back its popular Carne Asada after three years.

Carne Asada, beef marinated in cumin, coriander, oregano, lime juice, and cilantro, was a sensation when Chipotle introduced it in 2019.

Because over 10 million consumers purchased the limited-time offering, Chipotle brought it return in 2020. Today, Chipotle claims people want their Carne Asada back most.

Chipotle has listened to its consumers and is bringing the Carne Asada back to U.S. and Canadian menus for a limited time with a new twist. You may now sample Chipotle's Carne Asada in its quesadilla and viral fajita quesadilla, as recommended by the head chef.

Chipotle's chief chef, Nevielle Panthaky, suggests the Carne Asada Fajita Quesadilla with Monterey Jack cheese, fajita veggies, and three sides. Panthaky's picks? Sour cream, black beans, and cilantro lime white rice.

Though you may request Carne Asada as your protein in any Chipotle dish. To be safe, order the Carne Asada immediately as Chipotle hasn't announced how long it will be on the menu.
